I was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey. My father was in the Air Force and shortly after I was born we returned to West Virginia where my entire family is from. I grew up in Bridgeport, West Virginia, which is a small town in North Central West Virginia. I went to West Virginia University where I received a B.S. degree in finance in 1985. I then left West Virginia for the first time in my life and attended law school at the Capital University School of Law in Columbus, OH. I met my wife in Columbus and we got married in 1989. We have two children, my son is a lawyer who practices with our firm and my daughter is a commercial airline pilot.



I graduated from law school in 1988 and have been a practicing trial lawyer for the past 34 years. We have two offices, one located in Morgantown, WV and one in Columbus, OH. Our primary area of practice is representing people who have been hurt in truck and other commercial vehicle collisions. We handle cases primarily in WV and OH, but we are also brought in on cases in other states, primarily in the Northeast/Atlantic region of the country.



I spend my free time with my family. We travel a great deal and I am an avid hunter and fisherman. My wife and I have taken up fly fishing which we really love. Also, my family originates in Calabria, Italy which is in southern Italy. I have traveled to Italy many times and I, with two other partners, started a wine import business where we import wine from Italy. This has been a great diversion from the practice of law and eating Italian food and drinking red wine is a passion of mine and everybody else I know!
